Fifty ways to leave your bookmark: An experiment in social authoring

    Suzanne O Minassian  April 8 2008 03:03:03 PM
A new article has been posted to developerWorks today.  "Fifty ways to leave your bookmark" is an experiment led by Frank Jania where 11 people (myself included) posted code in a variety of programming languages to create bookmarks in Dogear using our Atom Publishing Protocol based API.
"The ultimate goal of this experiment is to have a group of people contribute the content for a developerWorks article, in the span of one day, that shows how to use Atom Publishing Protocol (AtomPub) from as many programming languages as possible. To build on the momentum of several articles about the Lotus Connections API, we'll use Dogear as our AtomPub-enabled service."

You can view 18 examples (yes, we didn't quite make it to 50!) written in Java, Ruby, PHP, ActionScript, Shell Script, ColdFusion (mine!), Message Broker and more! Check out the article here.
