Australian Bureau of Statistics uses IBM Social Software

This week, IBM announced the Australian Bureau of Statistics' use of IBM Lotus Connections software to help its 3,000+ employees collaborate. In addition top national daily paper The Australian among others featured the news:The offices of the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) have been decked out with wikis, blogs and instant messaging after the agency deployed a social-media platform for its 3200 staff. --ZDNet (link)
The organisation has announced that is adopting IBM social software to support the way thousands of employees connect and interact. ... "With Lotus Connections, ABS can use business-grade social software, straight out of the box." -- Government News (link)
